Volunteer
Join the core of volunteers who help increase the Florida Respite Coalition’s capacity to serve families and caregivers who care for individuals with disabilities and special needs. Whether you can spare a couple of hours a week or make a more significant time commitment, FRC hopes you will consider joining this very special community of caregiver supporters.
Special Events
Help raise money for the Florida Respite Coalition by supporting the special events and other fund-raising activities in your community.
Advocacy
Help shape laws at the federal, state or local level by communicating and educating legislators on caregiving and respite care issues. Coalition advocates are helping raise government funds to support improved access, availability and quality respite care services for families and caregivers in their communities.
Programs
If you have a professional background in health care, social services, marketing, public relations or accounting, your expertise can enhance the quality of regional programs and services. You can help your community develop and/or implement events and programs such as public awareness campaigns, speaker's bureaus, support groups for families and caregivers who need respite care coordination, education and training programs.
Board Service
Support FRC by providing a leadership role in the coalition. The State Board directs the work of the coalition by providing counsel on such matters as strategic and financial planning, program development, public relations and fundraising.
